Bogey Barn Golf Club, LLC ("Bogey Barn," "we," "us," or "our") operates bogeybarngolfclub.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we may collect certain information about your device and how you interact with the Site, including:

- Pages viewed, time spent on pages, and links clicked

When you contact us, sign up for updates, complete our survey, or make a purchase (such as a membership deposit or shop merchandise), we also collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, billing and shipping address, and payment information. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
If you have a member account, we also collect:
- Account and profile details, such as your name, email address, phone number, handicap, and simulator username
- Bay bookings, league participation, and billing statements
- Golf performance data recorded by our simulators when you play, such as clubs used, shot distances, ball and club speeds, spin, and round scores
2. How We Use Your Information
We use this information to:
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
- Process membership signups, shop orders, payments, shipping, and pickup
- Operate the member portal, including bookings, statements, leagues, and practice and round history
- Send you communications you have requested
- Enforce our membership terms and facility rules
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that collect information on our behalf:
- Microsoft Clarity — Behavioral analytics and session recordings. Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies to record how visitors interact with the Site. Clarity does not run on member portal pages. Microsoft may also use data collected through Clarity for its own purposes, including sharing with the Microsoft advertising ecosystem via the MUID cookie. - Stripe — Payment processing. Handles payment information, billing and shipping addresses for orders, and the member billing portal; we do not store full payment card details. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Supabase — Database hosting. Stores the information you submit through our signup and survey forms, member accounts and profiles, bookings, statements, and simulator golf data. See supabase.com/privacy.
- Resend — Email delivery. Stores contact information for email communications you have opted into. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Vercel — Website hosting and Vercel Web Analytics, which collects page view and device data. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- PostHog — Product analytics. Collects usage data, page views, and event data. See PostHog's privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.
- Anthropic — AI service used to write the round highlights shown on member scorecards. It receives shot and course statistics for the round, not your name or contact details. See anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
4. Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to enable core functionality and to support the analytics services listed above. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above, as necessary to operate the Site and our business, or when required by law.
If you take part in our Member World Golf Rankings, your first name, simulatorgolftour.com username, and ranking are shown publicly on the rankings page. To be removed, contact us at info@bogeybarngc.com.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. Access to member data is restricted to authorized personnel and approved service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Photos, Media, and Surveillance
By visiting our facility or attending events, you consent to the use of photos and video recordings that may include your likeness for promotional purposes, including social media and marketing materials. If you do not wish to appear in promotional content, please notify us in writing at info@bogeybarngc.com and we will make reasonable efforts to exclude you.
The facility is monitored by video surveillance 24/7 for safety, security, and operational purposes. By entering the facility, you consent to being recorded. Recordings may be reviewed to investigate incidents, damage, or violations of our membership terms or facility rules.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Analytics and session recording data is retained according to the retention periods of the respective service providers.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of marketing communications (via the unsubscribe link in any email)
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
